A small solar lamp can enable a family to eat their meal in the evening with light as well as helping kids to study at night and other family activities. In this way, having a solar lamp extends towards improving literacy rates, as children can now read more easily after dark.
They also reduce the danger of fire and improve the local air pollution by avoiding the need for traditional kerosene lamps . A small solar lamp is expected to last at least 2 years!
